McGinny Branch Farm is a small family-run farm commited to raising the tastiest tilapia possible. Established in 1996 in Lowndesboro, Alabama, the farm is operated by Stephen and Jo Lewis and is nestled in 40 acres of rolling pastureland.
Stephen and Jo both studied ichthyology at Auburn University where they met. Stephen studied production techniques while Jo was on the research side of things. After graduating and getting married the two of them started to apply their knowledge to their own fish production.
